The Healthy Bed Store asks you to consider is an adjustable base right for you?

If you are thinking of purchasing a new mattress you might also consider an adjustable base.  No longer just for the "senior set" an adjustable base can help you sleep more comfortably.   For example, elevating your head can help with acid reflux and snoring. The low-cost alternative, propping up your head on a pillow palace is not nearly as effective and may actually add to the problem by kinking your neck.

Recently I had some periodontal work done.  If you've ever experienced gum surgery then you know that it's not for the faint of heart.  However, sometimes we do things because we know that in the long run it is the right thing to do.  The challenge is to get through the short run.

You may wonder what dental surgery has to do with an adjustable base.  As it turns out my adjustable base was extremely helpful in getting me through the short run.  One of the instructions that I knew I could easily follow was to sleep with my head elevated.  Thanks to to my Leggett and Platt adjustable base, all it took was the touch of a button to raise my head to a comfortable height.

I was slow to make my adjustable bed purchase, but a few months ago the Healthy Bed Store was closing out one of the Leggett and Platt furniture style models.  It was a beautiful base at a floor model price.  Having the ability to easily raise my head helped me to sleep better following my surgery.  It was well worth the investment.  I'm happy and my dentist is happy.

Anytime is a good time to consider an adjustable base, especially if you're changing the size of your mattress.   You may be surprised to learn that a basic adjustable base especially in queen size or smaller can be comparable in price to a new platform bed, or foundation and frame.

When you're in the Folsom area come visit our showroom at 2690 East Bidwell Street, Suite 100.  We'll be pleased to show you our selection of adjustable bases by Leggett and Platt, Reverie, Rize and Softtide.
