My boss Wayne loves bringing in new pillows and there are always new products on the market. At the Healthy Bed Store we have around 50 pillows to choose from. Some are organic or have organic components but all of them are third-party certified for content, safety, durability and emissions.
Buying a new pillow sounds easy enough but there are certain things to consider. You definitely will want to try our pillows on a mattress that is a similar firmness to what you have at home. Also, most pillows aren’t returnable so we want to help you select the pillow that is right for you the first time. We’ve had some people spend more time selecting a pillow than they did selecting their bed.
There are a few simple things to keep in mind in choosing a pillow. You want a pillow that feels comfortable to you. That means your pillow shouldn’t lift your head up too high or let it drop too low.
Back sleepers generally need a thinner pillow. Side sleepers generally need a thicker pillow. After all there is a lot more space between your shoulders and head than there is between your head and upper back.
We offer pillows that are different heights (or fill as it is sometimes called) to help you find what’s right for you. Also you want to consider what type of material your pillow is made from. Wool and cotton pillows will compress while latex pillows tend to keep their shape. We also have memory foam pillows as well as several other types of fill. As I mentioned Wayne loves pillows and now has created his own line of pillows that are completely adjustable to the loft that is unique to your body.
We’ve brought in quite a few new pillows in the last few months and we need to sell off our clearance inventory to make room. Right now we have quite a few pillows on clearance at 50% off their former retail price and we invite you to come in and browse our selection.
